Take a Step Towards Climate Justice in Seattle.

The City is close to approving the removal of the heart of the 94th Street Grove — one of 22 super groves in Maple Leaf, that we believe were planted around 100 years ago as natural flood control.
This grove functions much like mature PNW forest, and is home to rich biodiversity rarely found in urban settings. However, it will soon be approved for removal for development. We're asking for a lot density solution, so we can have more housing while saving these trees. Simply moving the locations of the proposed buildings closer together would preseve almost every tree.
Join us in asking the developer, Greencity, and the City of Seattle to protect this grove from removal.
