Take a Step Towards Climate Justice in Seattle.

Heat islands are spreading, trees are being clearcut, and private equity is monetizing homes–a basic human right. But dystopian concrete doesn’t have to be Seattle’s future.
Seattle Residents for Thoughtful Growth (SRTG) is hosting an evening with Patrick Condon, author of Broken Cities. He will share lessons learned from Vancouver BC on the impact of deregulating development. SRTG will share innovative ideas like Service Core Conversions which re-use the infrastructure of older homes to build multifamily housing surrounded by large trees.
Seattle is one of the world’s only large cities where people can live among 100-foot trees. Join us in learning how we can carry that legacy forward for future generations.
